Use of Faceted Classification. November 2, 2003. My update to Web Design Practices examines how e-commerce sites use faceted classification to help people find products.

IA Summit Poster. On March 22, 2003 I presented a poster at the Information Architecture Summit held by the American Society for Information and Technology (ASIS&T). The poster summarized high-level findings from my thesis research, and provided an opportunity to talk with others about my research.

IPCC Paper & Presentation. In September, 2002 I presented at the International Professional Communication Conference (IPCC 2002) in Portland, OR. The topic, "Identifying De-facto Standards for E-Commerce Web Sites" was based in part on research conducted for my Master's degree in Technical Communication.
